South Beach Diet

Everytime I check my site meter, I always see the word “pinoy south beach diet “ on the searched word in google. Once they search "south beach diet" they are redirected to my blog. Since I only have images posted on my SBD/Food blog I decided to post a sample menu of south beach diet and its pinoy version. I’ll try to post the complete phase 1 of the pinoy version. For the meantime check this sample menu of SBD.

BREAKFAST
Artichokes Benedict
Mock Hollandaise Sauce
Decaffeinated Coffee or Tea with Nonfat Milk and Sugar Substitute

MORNING SNACK

TurkeyRoll-Ups
Cilantro Mayonnaise

LUNCH
Cottage Cheese and Vegetables in Red Pepper Cup

SNACK
Hummus with Raw Vegetables

DINNER
Grilled Chicken Breast with Grilled Vegetables

PINOY SOUTH BEACH DIET

BREAKFAST

1 cup fresh fruit salad (choice of cantaloupe, grapes, strawberries, kiwis, oranges, apples and mangoes)½ cup old fashioned oatmeal, cooked1 cup non-fat milk1 tbsp. walnuts, toasted
1 egg

LUNCH

roast chickenRomaine lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, green onions, parsley1 wedge of low-fat Laughing Cow cheese2 tbsp. vinaigrette

DINNER

Salmon Sinigang made with sour tamarinds (sampaloc), kangkong, tomatoes and radishchopped red pepper, cucumber with 2 tbsp. vinaigrette
pear or mango
